All three of our Santa Fe Hybrid trims use 1.6-liter turbocharged engines, and they each have a pair of electric motors. All of these parts work together to make 226 horsepower. There's 195 pound-feet of torque. Whenever you go in Goshen, NY, you can take advantage of all of this power. The SUV handles itself well and offers a smooth ride. It comes standard with HTRAC all-wheel drive. It can make the necessary adjustments if you ever run into slippery conditions. Hyundai has given this vehicle a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC. You can select from different drive modes depending on your preferences and the specific situation you're in. For those of you who plan on towing cargo, you'll be pleased to hear that this model can tow up to 2,000 pounds when properly equipped.
The Santa Fe Hybrid has a sizable cabin. Adults will be comfortable riding in the back, as with more than 40 inches of legroom back there. Either way, you'd have Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluelink Connected Car Service, HD Radio, and wireless charging. Behind the steering wheel, there's another screen. It's a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that shows key information about your vehicle as well as a few other pieces of data. When you're on the road, it can be so nice to have all of these pieces of technology.
As you'd imagine, the Santa Fe Hybrid has anti-lock brakes, airbags, and stability enhancement programs. It also has several driver-assist systems, including blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian and cyclist detection, and lane-keeping assist. The driver attention warning program can sense when you need to pay more attention to the roads and remind you to refocus your eyes on what's important.
