Trim Levels

Currently, this SUV includes three trim levels. It offers SE, SEL, and Limited. Current trim level options have not been finalized, but you can expect the SEL trim to offer standard equipment you wouldn't get on the base SE trim. You can also expect the Limited trim to deliver maximum performance in terms of interior options and tech. However, these specs are still being finalized, and the different trim levels will be launched on different dates.

Performance

The 2024 Hyundai Kona Electric will be powered by an advanced electric motor that makes 201 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. The front-wheel drive maximizes efficiency, giving you an estimated range of 261 miles. That range is also because of the 64.8-kilowatt-hour battery pack. The new Kona Electric gets 129 MPGe in the city, 103 MPGe on the highway, and 116 MPGe combined. There is a 10.8-kilowatt onboard charger, letting you charge from 10 percent to 100 percent in only six hours and five minutes. DC Fast Charging is estimated to get you from 10 percent to 80 percent charge in only 43 minutes. There is a new one-pedal driving system that lets you accelerate, brake, and stop using the gas pedal. The new smart regenerative braking system changes its settings based on current driving conditions, maximizing energy recovery. It can also supply up to 1.7 Kilowatts of AC power using the V2L system.

 
  

Technology and Features
